
These results were corroborated by a study conducted by the firm ‘Resuelve Consultoría de Impacto Social,’ according to which 32 percent of participants reported finding a new job, and 78 percent attributed this achievement to their participation in the project and the improvement of their skills. Similarly, the average job search time for those who obtained a vacancy was reduced from eight months to three months. More than 85 percent of participants reported improving the way they construct their resumes, present themselves professionally in English, and approach job interviews. In turn, 78 percent stated they were able to present their ideas more clearly. One of the sectors that benefited most from talent development was administrative and support services activities, representing 30.5 percent of the total vacancies filled. Most jobs in this category were in outsourcing services and call centers. "Before having the certification, job options were fewer because it's not until they ask you for English that you realize you need it. Without the certificate, you're often not even considered in the process," said one of the program students.
